Haiti Care Mission was formed when a couple from the USA made a mission trip to Haiti. After making the trip to the poor island country, they noted that many girls would hide and stay out of sight to conceal their naked bodies. They realized that these girls were not welcome in churches, Bible schools, or feeding programs.
Upon returning to the USA , they found some simple patterns for the three handmade items. Haiti Care Mission soon began producing, packing, and shipping these items to Haitian missionaries to be distributed to the children.
To date, thanks to hundreds of volunteers and generous financial supporters HCM has shipped thousands of items to Haiti and eleven other countries including Sudan, Cuba, Philippines, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Jamaica, Nigeria, Bahamas, and Zimbabwe.
