Our Goal

The goal of Haiti Care Mission is to share the love of Jesus with the children of Haiti through handmade items. Each hand sown item is made to help every child know that they are precious in His sight. Pinless cloth diapers, pillowcase dresses, and sleeping mats are used as a means of sharing the Gospel of Jesus with the children and families of Haiti.

New Leadership at Haiti Care Mission

In the past few months, Haiti Care Mission has been going through a series of transformations.  Transformations that have been prayed over, carefully considered and thoughtfully planned out.  Transformations that will lead this mission in a direction of higher service and greater impact for the Kingdom.
The first major transformation for Haiti Care Mission is the addition of Lance and Lynn Anderson as the new Mission Directors.  The Andersons are a missionary family that has served Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas for the past 2 years.  They come to Haiti Care with extensive experience of the island of Hispaniola and the people of Haiti.  Lynn began working with Haiti Care Mission one and half months ago and now her husband, Lance, is joining the team.  They will serve at Haiti Care Mission from Florida, which is the new base of operations for the mission.
Lance will be providing the overall direction of Haiti Care Mission.  He will manage the financial aspects of the mission, communicate with missionaries, and direct the logistics and shipping of all items.  Lynn will be working on the communications aspects of the mission and coordinating sewing groups.  Together, they will be working to take this mission to a higher level of service. They are full of ideas and looking forward to working out new avenues of shipping as well as expanding the products we provide.
Please pray for the Andersons as they begin their service with Haiti Care Mission.  All communications with the Andersons can be made through haiticaremission@gmail.com or by calling the Haiti Care office at 941-244-6778.

The History of HCM

Haiti Care Mission was formed when a couple from the USA made a mission trip to Haiti.   After making the trip to the poor island country, they noted that many girls would hide and stay out of sight to conceal their naked bodies.  They realized that these girls were not welcome in churches, Bible schools, or feeding programs.
Upon returning to the USA, they found some simple patterns for the three handmade items. Haiti Care Mission soon began producing, packing, and shipping  these items to Haitian missionaries to be distributed to the children.
To date, thanks to hundreds of volunteers and generous financial supporters HCM has shipped thousands of  items to Haiti and eleven other countries including Sudan, Cuba, Philippines, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Jamaica, Nigeria, Bahamas, and Zimbabwe.

What We Do

The Haiti Care Mission is an independent Christian mission outreach to children in need throughout the world. Currently, the Mission provides pillow case dresses, pin less cloth diapers, and sleeping mats to little ones in Haiti and twelve other countries.

All items sewn by Mission volunteers are distributed through individuals or mission teams traveling to these countries, by missionaries in the countries, as well as being directly shipped to orphanages, schools, and clinics in Haiti.
Through the favor of God, in its three-year history, the Mission has experienced no problems with boxes arriving at their intended destinations and has never been charged an import or border tax by any countries.
All expenses incurred by the Mission are covered by donations from individuals, groups, and churches.

Here are some pictures of the items...sleeping mat
